One of the most hardcore tattoos I’ve ever seen. I met this guy at Cornerstone, he told me that once during accountability time with a bro, they got to talking about sharing the gospel, and he felt really convicted about his obedience to that, so much he permanently inked on his arm the words of Paul from 1 Corinthians 9:16.

Light and God
One of the guys that is coming out to PA told this to me over the phone and it was such a great thing to hear and know, that I had to post this on here. This is what he told me and then sent to me in an email…
We know that God is our light and we know that there’s nothing that can change His infinitude or omniscience. But Light travels at 186,000 miles per second. If a car was chasing me at 20 miles an hour and I was running at 10 miles an hour, the car would hit me at 10 miles an hour. But light doesn’t obey any laws of nature. If light is chasing me and I run away at 1000 mph, the light will still hit me at 186,000 miles per second. You cannot outrun light. And no matter how fast we run away from God, His infinitude never ends and all we’ll do is running straight to Him. If we, however, try and run 1 million miles per hour toward God, His infinitude is so never ending that we could run for eternity and we would still be an eternity from His end. God’s light shines so bright too. Because our God is perfect and so He can’t just be bright, He is infinitely bright containing all light, if he didn’t, He wouldn’t be our God.
I love God, and I pray that our love shines like a light brightly showing the majesty of our creator. But let’s also seek God as if we aren’t the ones chasing Him, because He has to meet us. Its not a choice, we just aren’t capable of meeting God where He’s at because He is everywhere all the time. All we can do in worship and seeking God is truly show Him in our hearts that we’re here to know Him and hear his voice. I want to be best friends with God so that I know His voice better than anyone else’s.
